Adrian Pascu
Software engineer & community builder, Brussels
I build software across mobile, web, IoT, cloud, and AI, from large-scale apps with 500k+ active users to embedded hardware built from scratch. Outside of client work I maintain open-source tools and build and run local communities.

Projects
- LidGuard
A macOS menu bar app that cuts Wi-Fi and Bluetooth when the lid closes on battery and restores them when you open it. It fixes Apple Silicon dark-wake drain, where the Wi-Fi chip wakes the SoC on every inbound IP packet and no power setting suppresses it. Swift, CoreWLAN and IOBluetooth, no dependencies.
Vibe coded: written end to end by Claude across 18 prompts, with no line of code written or edited by a human.
- TimerBar
A macOS menu bar timer that stays quiet while you work and coaches you when you stop. Flow mode counts a labelled session down beside the clock. With the timer off it floats a card above every window and space with one idea, drawn from 161 tips on building a SaaS, on the psychology of attention and habit, and on the psychiatry of working with your own head, distilled from Getting Real, Paul Graham, Wikipedia and the NIH. Each card opens a Claude Code session on the tip, and once a week a tune-up reads your recent sessions and rewrites the pool around what you are actually building. Electron.
Vibe coded: written end to end by Claude across 24 prompts, with no line of code written or edited by a human.
- Menubar Manager
A fork of the Thaw menu bar manager for notched MacBooks. Every menu bar icon gets a priority, the lowest ones are moved out of the strip first when space runs out, high ones come back first when it returns, and an icon with no priority yet counts as new and outranks everything so you see it before it vanishes. The rest is reachable as pages that fit beside the notch and revert on their own, and a notification names any icon that was moved out of view. Swift, on top of Thaw's layout engine.
Vibe coded: the priority layer was written end to end by Claude across 15 prompts on top of Thaw's code base, with no line of code written or edited by a human.
